As recreation professionals, one of the most exciting times of your career will be the opportunity to participate in the planning and design process for a new or renovated recreation facility. This presentation will discuss the selection of your design team, planning, design and construction from the perspective of two recreational design architects with years of experience.
You’ll learn how to:
• Select an architectural team and know the steps of the planning process for a new or renovated facility.
• Recognize what to expect from an architect during each stage of the building process.
• Identify what is expected from you during each stage of the process.
