New meets old at the remodeled Eppler Junior High School which maintains the historical atmosphere of downtown Utica while incorporating modern safety and educational advancements. A new media center, additional classrooms, new exterior facade and remodeling of the counseling and administration sections enhances this facility. The media center features large windows offering an expansive view overlooking the woods and sports fields. Information stations were designed to provide assistance for in-depth research. The counseling and administration/lobby areas were also updated to meet safety needs. Energy efficient windows were installed in the original portion of the building, matching the original design.
