This new early elementary school is truly “just for the kids” with child-height windows and a symbolic stair platform at the main entry for imaginative play activities. Designed specifically for children in preschool through first grade, and splashed with touches of primary colors, all aspects of the school were crafted to meet the social, physical and learning needs of the four to six year old user. The facility includes twelve generously sized flexible class areas, a dedicated art and music area, gross motor activity center and a centrally located media center. Floor patterns, French doors, two level door handles and access to protected outdoor play areas all add to the spirit of adventure at the school.
