The Media Center is the focal point of this new K-5 elementary school. The Center is prominently located on the second level, directly above the main entrance. The Center includes stack areas, individual computer workstations, storytelling areas, a media office, workrooms, a technology control center and a special projects center. A two-story layout optimizes the tight site, bound by four residential streets, while still maintaining adequate exterior area. Creativity and innovation certainly takes Becker Elementary well into the 21st Century.
