Students at this new LEED Gold certified 91,580 SF facility learn in a collaborative environment that encourages interaction among science teachers, math teachers and students. Evening access is provided for students and community members, expanding the boundaries of educational opportunities and encouraging lifelong learning. To encourage student awareness of environmental issues, a number of sustainable design elements are incorporated including exposed geothermal heating and cooling, sun control devices and recycling stations.
