The board of directors of TMP Architecture, Inc. recently promoted Eduardo Blanc, IA AIA from senior associate to principal.
Blanc, who joined TMP in 1995, is a senior designer in the firm’s Portage office. As principal, Blanc’s role will expand to include leadership in marketing, business development and staffing activities for the Portage office. He will continue in his role as a senior designer for the firm’s educational work.
Blanc received the Degree of Architect from the University of Buenos Aires in 1985. With a solid background as a teacher and lecturer, he has worked at a variety of universities including Washington University’s School of Architecture in St. Louis, Missouri; College for Creative Studies, Detroit and Buenos Aires University, Argentina. He is an International Associate member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a member of the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI).
Blanc is currently working on design projects for Plymouth-Canton Public Schools, Spring Lake Public Schools and Evanston/Skokie School District 65 (Illinois).
TMP has offices in Bloomfield Hills and Portage, Michigan, producing a variety of projects for K-12 educational, college / university and municipal clients. The firm’s current projects include bond programs for Plymouth-Canton Public Schools, Dearborn Public Schools and Troy School District, as well as projects for Eastern Michigan University, University of Alabama and Virginia Military Institute.
