Bloomfield Hills, Mich., March 12, 2018 – The Board of Directors of TMP Architecture, Inc. recently promoted Laura C. Casai, IIDA, LEED AP to Senior Associate of the firm.
Casai is a 2006 graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design. She also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Oakland University, which she earned in 2015. Laura joined TMP as a student intern in 2002 and was promoted as an Associate with the firm in 2011. She has led the interior design efforts on many significant projects in both the K-12 and college/university markets including clients such as Michigan State University, St. Clair County RESA, Dexter Community Schools, and Notre Dame Preparatory and Marist Academy. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and is qualified with the National Council for Interior Design.
During her career at TMP, Casai has excelled as a professional. She was the youngest person in the firm’s 59-year history to be made the Director of Interior Design. She also was a member of the 2016 Class of Oakland County Executive Elite 40 Under 40. Casai also devotes time to the continuing education of other professionals in the industry, including her presentation at 2017 EdSpaces. Her next engagement will be a presentation at the upcoming 2018 MSBO Facilities Preconference.
