Bloomfield Hills, Mich., October 5, 2016 — Christopher Hess, AIA, LEED AP of Bloomfield Hills-based TMP Architecture, Inc., has passed the state licensing exams and is officially registered as an architect in the state of Michigan.
Hess joined TMP as an architectural intern in 2013 after receiving his Master of Architecture degree from Lawrence Technological University that same year. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design degree from Michigan State University in 2007. In 2009, Chris passed the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) exam and was granted LEED Accreditation. He resides in Clarkston.
Hess has contributed his talents to various educational projects for TMP including K-12 work for Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Troy Schools, and Mercy High School, Farmington Hills. Hess is also heavily involved in many of the firm’s higher education projects, including those for Eastern Michigan University, University of Michigan and Michigan State University.
